This test method is a variation of the simple slump test and subject the concrete to vibration after removal from the slump cone. The time taken for the concrete to be recompacted is taken as a measure of workability. The small vibrating table operates at a fixed amplitude and frequency, and in the test a plastic disc is a placed into contact with the upper surface pf the concrete. The test is completed when the lower surface of the disc has been completely coated with cement grout.
